2008 Annual LAMP CLE Conference

WHEN: Thursday - Friday, January 24 & 25, 2008.

WHO: Seating for this CLE/CPE is limited. Priority for attendees is as follows:

1. Active duty military and reservists, and associated civilian employees supporting members of the military;

2. Attorneys providing legal services to military personnel

3. All other attorneys and paralegals

WHAT: Topics include divorce, child custody, SCRA, landlord/tenant, real estate sales contracts, ethics, estate planning, substance abuse, consumer law, and NC traffic law. 13 hours of CLE/CPE credit are pending approval by the NC State Bar.

WHERE: The CLE/CPE will be held in the ballroom of the Officers' Club on Seymour Johnson AFB, in Goldsboro, NC. As you come in on the US 70 Bypass, take the US-13 Exit toward Snow Hill/Seymour Johnson AFB, turn right onto Berkley Blvd, proceed 1.3 miles, Visitors' Center will be on your right immediately after E. Elm St., Berkley Gate is straight ahead. After your enter Seymour Johnson AFB through the Berkley Gate you will be forced to the left. The Officers' Club is the second left, after Scriven Rd.

Please stop at the Visitors' Center to obtain your visitor's pass. To expedite the process, please provide on your registration your full legal name, drivers license number and issuing state, date of birth, vehicle license plate number and issuing state, and whether you are driving.

If you would like to stay the night, rooms have been reserved at the Southern Pines Inn, on Seymour Johnson AFB within a short walk of the Officers' Club. Room rates are between $32.50 and $37.50. Please contact Jill.Sherrod@SeymourJohnson.AF.MIL, before 9 January 2008, and ask for the NC LAMP CLE Group Rate.

HOW: Registration - To register for the program, please complete and submit the registration form by US Mail or email attachment no later than January 11, 2008. Early bird registration must be received by December 29, 2007. Make checks payable to “NC State Bar.”

Materials - The CLE/CPE manuscripts will only be made available electronically on this website. Please download prior to attending.
